Nutrient Quick Facts

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. There is no perfect product to cure life’s challenges. But this is true: your body is the most powerful force in the universe. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. You can boost your natural power without drugs, pills, supplements or artificial stimulants. All you need is nutrients. A lot of them, every single day. Our products are the first to give your body what it needs (nutrient density) and avoids what damages it (inflammatory ingredients). Our mission to create a nutrient revolution, so that a natural path toward health is available to everyone. We want to make ridiculous things like calorie counting, macronutrient division, and fad diets completely obsolete. Our products do one simple thing: boost your body’s natural power to perform, to heal, for beauty and for anti-aging.

How long will it take for you to start feeling the Nutrient difference? Immediately. With the first meal, you should experience the phenomenon called “the satiety state” – fancy words for feeling full. Fullness is driven by nutrient density, NOT by the amount of calories. If your 37 trillion cells get all the required nutrients, they tell your brain “I got what I need” and your brain turns off the hunger switch. This means your cells are happy (regenerating). When you experience satiety, you know the natural power of your body is starting to kick in.

After a week of Nutrient, your body will respond in some incredible ways - it begins to repair, to heal, and to regenerate its cells. Your body’s natural power is coming to life! Five years of testing and Live Clinicals™ have shown that 9 out of 10 people experience sustained energy, sharper focus, faster recovery, better sleep and libido, more radiant skin, stronger nails and hair, and improved overall health. 80% of your health is determined by your choices and 20% are determined by genetics. For most of us, nutrients are the missing power source. Your body is ready to perform - it just needs the nutrients to feed your greatness.

Let’s talk about something a little awkward. Boosting your body’s natural power is not all roses. Many people experience gas during the first week, and some experience it for longer. This is your body adjusting from a nutrient deficient to a nutrient dense diet. Your body’s system is a series of chemical reactions, and nutrients are like super powered rocket fuel. Until your body adjusts, you may experience gas. Hang in there, it’s worth it! Once your body adjusts, the gas should go away.

Similarly, your gastrointestinal (GI) system has to adjust to a nutrient dense diet, particularly the high fiber part. This is good because it means your microbiome is adjusting to create healthier bacteria. Some people experience loose stools for a few days, but it goes away within a week. Again, hang in there! Your body needs these nutrients to perform, and to heal. In fact, many people who suffer from constipation become regular, so for most the GI issue has a happy ending.

Just changing one meal a day will boost your body’s ability to perform at higher levels. Each anti-inflammatory meal gives you 25% to 50% of all the nutrients you need, while saving you about 500 calories a meal (translation: lose 1 pound a week or 50 pounds in a year). If you eat well for the rest of the day, great! If you don’t, you should consider adding another meal a day to get the best results.

Radical reliance on the most powerful force in the world - your body - is a lifetime commitment, not a fad. It means changing one meal (or more) a day to a nutrient dense meal and doing it daily. If you love your body and understand its natural power, this should not be a burden. We recommend starting with our breakfast and on-the-go options to make the easiest transition to a Nutrient life.

We refuse to play the sugar, salt, bad fats and artificial flavors game. We don’t produce food for the short-term, artificial high. Even the “all natural, organic, plant based, healthy” marketing you see on food isn’t what it appears to be. Take a closer look at the nutrition panel and you’ll be shocked. Our products are designed for extraordinary outcomes – you performing at your highest level. But you can dress our foods up with our recipes, or use your own imagination and make it your own.

Many Nutrient customers will start on our products to address a specific health issue and they end up being amazed by the other very positive results. Your body is built for greatness, and it will respond in various ways to a nutrient dense, anti-inflammatory diet. Unlike drugs, pills and artificial stimulants,, you should only experience positive, unintended consequences from nutrients. Nutrient makes every day your best day!

We created these foods for today’s world - everyone is busy, time is short, multi-tasking is the new normal. Most people need something simple and easy (we know we do). All of our foods are either ready to eat or less than 5 minutes of prep. Just grab and go!

Every meal is complete - you get 100% of what you need in each meal you consume. In nutritional terms, this means 20% to 50% or more of all your vitamins, minerals, amino acids, healthy fatty acids, and fiber. Each meal is loaded with over 100 nutrients. And each meal is anti-inflammatory which means it lacks the ingredients that damage your body. Complete meals are a relief - they save you the time and expense of making sure each meal you eat is nutritionally balanced.

Each basic meal is $3.50. This is a bargain considering the average cost of meals at home are $7 (and eating out is at least $10). For the cost of a fancy coffee, you can get a meal that empowers you to perform and to heal, and for beauty and longevity. Eating well does not have to be expensive.

The world is obsessed with calories - the stupidest measure ever invented. In fact, it was first used to measure energy produced for steam engines and then inaccurately applied to food. Measuring calories implies that all calories are equal. This is just plain wrong. The only thing that matters is nutrients. The more nutrient dense and complete your food is, the better. The only helpful way to use calories is to measure nutrients per calories (how many calories you need to get all your nutrients). Nutrient foods are the #1 food for delivering the most nutrients per calories.

Did you know that what you eat has 9x more impact on your body than exercise? It’s very hard to change your metabolic rate (the rate at which you burn energy or calories). About 80% is fixed and only 20% depends on the amount of exercise you do. This is why it’s so hard to burn calories in the gym. According to NIH studies, each hour of exercise burns about 400 calories. The average American gets 2.5 hours of exercise a week. So a 40% increase in exercise a week will mean you burn another 400 calories. Not a lot. Now, let’s look at the food. One Nutrient meal is about 200 to 300 calories vs a typical meal of 600 to 1000 calories. This means you can save about 500 calories in every meal. Just changing one meal a day will shave 3500 calorie a week - almost 9x more effective than exercise. You still need to exercise for your heart and overall health, but walking around the block a couple times a day is just fine. No long, sweaty gym sessions necessary.

We are not born with a sweet tooth - we train our body to love sugar, salt and bad fats. In fact, our taste buds regenerate every 10 days! An intense program of eating nutrient dense foods with low sugar and low sodium will help you break your love affair with harmful ingredients (inflammatory foods). So many Nutrient customers are amazed that they now crave nutrients instead of sugar. The path to extraordinary performance, health, beauty and longevity is not a story of sacrifice. It’s a story of giving your body the chance to readjust.

Full disclosure: You do not need us. You are perfectly capable of living your own nutrient dense/anti-inflammatory life. In fact, that is our mission - to spread the nutrient revolution, not just to sell product. But, let’s be real. It’s hard, time consuming and expensive to do it alone. We make it easy, simple and affordable. For example, to get all your micronutrients through fruits and vegetables, you need to eat 11 different servings a day. That’s a lot! If the average American doubles their consumption of fruits and vegetables from 1.5 to 3, they are still eating only 25% of what they need. And how about omega 3... you need to eat a lot of salmon to hit that target. Fiber? Hope you’re loading up on wheat germ. And what about inflammatory foods? The average American consumes 130 grams of sugar daily - a whopping 4x more than we should. When a nutrition scientist tried to match our nutrient dense, anti-inflammatory meals using “whole foods,” her best solution was a 2000 calorie, $25 meal (and included chicken liver and wheat germ...no thanks.)

The problem we are solving is the nutrient deficit in our bodies. Virtually everyone is nutrient deficient. We are missing essential micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), healthy fats (omega 3) and fiber. Don’t worry about protein - the diet industry has done an impressive job of misinforming people that they need more protein. Most people get enough without even trying. Solving the nutrient deficit is a challenge because it requires a large amount of highly varied foods. A lot of calories, a lot of eating, and a lot of money. Part of the Nutrient magic is that we have everything you need in every meal.

Two truisms about sugar: 1) Americans eat way too much and 2) All sugar is equally bad. Americans consume about 130 grams per day - the recommended MAX amount is 25 to 50 grams. Sugar is highly inflammatory and a major contributor to many health problems. You may have heard that “added sugar” is the only thing to worry about. Wrong. Your body processes all sugar the same, whether it’s natural or added. In fact, fructose sugar (fruit) is the worst sugar as only our liver can process it. In fact, a recent JAMA study showed that fruit juices are just as bad (or worse) than sugar sodas. Fruit is loaded with sugar, so watch out. We need to cut all sugars as much as possible.

Water is a gift and a curse to humans. Our bodies are about 2/3 water and staying hydrated is critical. But water is also what causes food spoilage, particularly in fruits and vegetables. It’s the main reason Big Food started adding artificial preservatives into foods. We’ve removed water from our products (the reason they’re in powder form and require hydration at point of use). While not as visually appealing as a bowl of fruit on the table, our unique process allows for no food waste and our nutrients can last for years vs the limited days for fruits and vegetables.

The supplement industry emerged for one reason – today’s foods lack all the nutrients your body needs. A hundred years ago, Big Food started removing nutrients and adding artificial flavors, coloring and preservatives, so today over 80% of foods are processed. Scientists debate whether supplements are effective (just hop on Google and you’ll get a ton of different opinions). But there is one thing everyone agrees on: food starts the absorption process for nutrients; thus, nutrients via food is the most powerful way to ensure your body gets what it needs. So, good news! If you eat Nutrient, you can say goodbye to multivitamins and supplements.

Nutrient has focused on replacing the worst meals we eat: breakfast and on-the-go. Nutrients power our brains and body to perform, to be sharp, and to be full of energy so starting the day with Nutrient and replenishing your body when you’re busy makes sense. For some people, consuming Nutrient before bed causes their mind to become too active.

You need them all. Most people focus only on macronutrients for two reasons: 1) Macro means you need these foods in large quantities and 2) The government does a nice job of reporting on macronutrients and a very poor job on other nutrients and inflammatory ingredients. In fact, the Nutrition Facts Panel is dangerously misleading. More than 90% of the nutrients you need are missing! And only focusing on macronutrients is a big mistake. Macros are not actual nutrients - they are a food type (carbs, protein, fats). Micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) are equally important. Your body needs all of these nutrients - the right ones, in the right amounts - and it needs them daily. Every nutrient has a role to play and together they all work synergistically in your body. Ignoring some nutrients is like putting gas in your car but no air in your tires - you won’t get very far. Every diet trend and Big Food marketing message (high protein, low carbs, follow the pyramid, calorie counting) misses the point - the singular importance of getting your entire nutrient profile.
